Acer Therapeutics, a 3-year-old biotech company developing drugs for ultra-rare diseases, said July 3 that it will go public through a reverse merger with a small Houston-area company. Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Acer said it would merge with The Woodlands-based Opexa Therapeutics (Nasdaq: OPXA).
