Wharton ISD junior high teacher accused of secretly recording student changing clothes

A junior high school social studies teacher and coach Friday was arrested on charges that he filmed students changing clothes then shared the recordings on the internet.

Thomas Hosman, 45, faces two counts of improper photography/visual recording. He has been placed on administrative leave by the Louise Independent School District.

The Wharton County District Attorney said that a video of at least one student caught the attention of internet crime detectives in Houston. Hosman has been prohibited from speaking to anyone under the age of 18 and cannot have internet access.

He was released from prison on a $60,000 bond.
