Some watering holes around Houston — including a small sports bar on Washington Avenue — saw a big boost in sales last month as the Super Bowl rolled through Houston. Mixed beverage sales around the city of Houston jumped nearly 15 percent year over year in February, according to recently released statewide tax receipts.
