On Saturday, the internet became obsessed with April, a giraffe whose pregnancy was live-streamed to millions of viewers online.
But a day earlier, the Houston Zoo’s newly born calf, a 6 foot 3 inch female made her first public appearance.
The Houston Zoo recently released a short video showcasing the yet-to-be-named giraffe’s debut to the public.

The video shows the calf running about, exploring her new surroundings and getting a thorough cleaning by her mother.

According to the video’s Facebook post, the calf “was quickly welcomed into the herd,” which is hardly surprisingly considering how adorable she is.

Tyra, the calf’s mother, has given birth to a whopping 10 baby giraffes so far at the Houston Zoo. Zookeepers might want to take a page out of April’s book and live-stream number 11.
