Dr. Robert Robbins, currently president and CEO of the Texas Medical Center in Houston, officially has been named the next president of the University of Arizona. Robbins was named the lone finalist for the role a month ago, but the appointment wasn’t official until the Arizona Board of Regents approved his three-year contract on April 7.
