Fisher, 23, is hitting .335 with 16 home runs, 45 RBIs and 13 stolen bases in 60 games at Triple-A Fresno. He has a .401 on-base percentage and is slugging .608 for a 1.010 OPS. He has hit safely in 16 of his last 17 games and leads the Grizzlies with 25 multihit games.
A left-handed bat, the 6-foot-3 Fisher was drafted No. 37 overall by the Astros in 2014 out of the University of Virginia. He’s the second member of the Astros’ ’14 Draft class to reach the big leagues with Houston, joining second-round pick A.J. Reed.
Fisher has started 37 games in center field, 11 in left field, six in right field and six at designated hitter.
