Houston’s skyline will be gaining seven new family members next year.
The skyscrapers will continue the surge of buildings which have been added to downtown Bayou City in recent years.
TIMBER: Oregon city approves permit for US’ 1st all-wood high-rise
Of the seven under construction buildings, all are above 350 feet in height, with the tallest, Capitol Tower, measuring 579 feet.
Once completed, Capitol Tower will be the third-tallest building constructed in Houston in the past 10 years.
Four of the projects will serve as residential buildings, one as a hospital, another as an office and another as a mixture of a hotel, residential building and office.
