There is officially a new top executive in charge at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, one of the city’s largest nonprofits. James A. “Jim” Winne III took the reins as chairman of the board from Jack Lyons on June 1, according to a spokesperson. Winne is the founder and former chairman and CEO of Houston-based Legend Production Holdings, which he retired from in 2013.
