The Kinder Foundation has awarded a seven-year, $10.7 million grant to Rice University’s Houston Education Research Consortium. HERC, which was established in 2011, is housed in Rice’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research and currently is funded by the Laura and John Arnold Foundation and Houston Endowment.
