A crime spree that left four people dead earlier this month now has four people behind bars in Dallas.

Joy Tiara Gray, 21; Kevin Wayne Kidd, 28; Emmanuel Lewis Kilpatrick, 30; and Jermon Antwon Simmons, 34, are charged with capital murder and assorted other offenses. They are being held on bail amounts ranging from $500,000 to $1.5 million.

According to WFAA, the four had put together a complicated scheme involving prostitutes whose role was to lure their customers into robbery set-ups.

BATTERED DEFENSE: Teen accused in fatal stabbing may have suffered battered-woman syndrome

One woman, whose name has not been released, was killed because she refused to go along with the scheme, the station reported.

The capital murder charges against the three male suspects stem from the deaths of Irby Walton Sr. and his son, Irby Walton Jr., who were found tied up and fatally shot March 11 in their Dallas apartment, WFAA reported.

Gray, the female suspect, is charged with aggravated robbery in the Walton case but is also charged with capital murder in the March 12 death of Cristobal Zepeda. He had arranged to pay Gray for sex but was found shot to death the next morning in his car, according to police records, WFAA said.
