California-based Wings of Rescue is flying hundreds of pets to state’s across the U.S. to make room in shelters for animals displaced by Harvey. The national nonprofit flew its first flight of Harvey animals on Aug. 28 from Lafayette, Louisiana, to San Diego, according to reports. On Aug. 29, a flight from San Antonio was expected to depart with 100 dogs on the way to Oregon and Washington.
