Dr. Benjamin Chu — the president and CEO of Houston’s largest nonprofit health care system, Memorial Hermann Health System — is stepping down. Chu announced his departure was effective June 19, according to a release. He was hired in March 2016 and started the position in May 2016. Chuck Stokes, executive vice president and COO, is now interim president and CEO. He’s expected to continue in his previous role as well.
