An angry bar-goer shot at a Houston police officer who told him he couldn’t take his beer outside.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday, two patrons at Mondongo Restaurant in the Gulfton area of southwest Houston tried leaving the joint with their drinks in hand, according to police.

A Houston police officer at the scene stopped them and said they couldn’t have an open container outside the restaurant.

The men got mad, but left without their beer.

A little while later, the police officer went out to the parking lot and one of the suspects leaving the scene popped off a few shots from a black SUV before driving away.

The bullets missed and no one was hurt. Both suspects fled the scene and escaped.
