Texas A&M University will rename Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in honor of a longtime local benefactor. Arthur “Artie” McFerrin Jr., who died Aug. 8 after a long battle with leukemia, and his wife, Dorothy, gave the school $10 million for the center, according to an Aug. 24 press release.
