A cold case spanning nearly 30 years just north of Houston will be the focus on Oxygen’s “Cold Justice” this Saturday.

The show will dig into the murder of Mary Jane LeFlore, who was last seen alive on July 19, 1991. Last month, her husband Larry LeFlore was arrested in her murder.

THE CASE: After nearly 30 years, an arrest is made in a Huntsville cold case

Houstonians who tune in will see a familiar face on the show as former Harris County prosecutor Kelly Siegler is a host.

“I think people will be pleased to see we had a lot of cooperation,” Siegler told about her experience in the LeFlore case. “It’s kind of crazy a story like this would happen so close to home to such a nice lady.”

Detective Sgt. Ken Foulch of the Huntsville Police Department told last month that Larry LeFlore found his wife’s car in the parking lot of the West Hill Mall the day she went missing. He claims he saw wife leaving the parking lot in a van with someone else.

Larry LeFlore said he pursued the van, following it onto Interstate 45 south, heading toward Houston. He told police he went back to the mall after he couldn’t keep up. He was convinced his wife was having an affair.

Police didn’t get a new lead in the case until February 1993, when a perspective land buyer found human remains on a lot near FM 3179, off Highway 30. Police identified the remains as Mary Jane LeFlore through dental records and her jewelry that was left at the scene.

Siegler and Foulch didn’t say what evidence eventually led to the arrest of Larry LeFlore. Foulch did say investigators with “Cold Justice” helped the case significantly, turning up new leads and getting more people to talk to the police.

To find out more information on how police came to arrest Larry LeFlore, tune into Oxygen on Saturday at 7 p.m.
