Hundreds of cyclists pedaled west Saturday morning as the 2017 BP MS-150 got underway.
Over the next two days, riders will travel from Houston to Austin, as part of an annual event to raise money to fight multiple sclerosis.
This year, more than 9,000 riders are participating in the two-day, 170 mile ride, which has a goal of raising $16 million by the end of July, organizers said.
