A teenager accused of killing his parents – former Texas A&M University football star Antonio Armstrong and his wife – is expected to make bail, his attorney said Tuesday.
Antonio Armstrong Jr., is charged with capital murder, accused of fatally shooting his parents inside their southwest Houston townhome in July.

On Tuesday, state District Judge Kelli Johnson set bail for the teen at $200,000, court records show.
Armstrong, who was 16 when the crime occurred, has been certified to stand trial as an adult.
Attorney Rick Detoto said he believes Armstrong’s family can make the bail, and hopes they can get Armstong released Tuesday.
The teen was arrested when his story about a gun-wielding burglar didn’t match the evidence, prosecutors have said.
