Houston suitors might be feeling a little one-upped.

A Bayou City native recently released a romantic music video to propose to his girlfriend, lip syncing to the R&B hit “Let’s Chill” by Guy.

Under the guise of a birthday party, Trevon Davis showed girlfriend Franchelle Hill the music video and surprised her with a ring at the end of the debut.

The music video, along with Hill’s reaction — a more than enthusiastic yes — were uploaded to YouTube with the title “The Greatest Proposal Ever.”

In the video, a dapper Davis sings and dances at spots important to the couple’s relationship, like the school where they first met.

The best part is that in the music video, Davis rocks a cane just like Aaron Hall, the soul singer and Guy band member in the original “Let’s Chill” video

“That song symbolizes someone ready to spend the rest of their life with someone – ‘Let’s chill. Let’s settle down.’ I’m ready for this commitment,” Davis told KHOU. “If you knew Franchelle, you would think of some crazy ideas to make her happy as well.”
