A homeless man with several gunshot wounds was found Sunday morning inside a vacant business in southwest Houston.
Police responded to the 10600 block of Fondren around 2:30 a.m. and found a man who had been shot repeatedly inside the building.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, according to homicide investigators.
Several homeless people had been staying inside the building and one was taken in for questioning as a person of interest.
What sparked the gunfire is still under investigation.
