Former President George H. W. Bush is back in the hospital with a mild case of pneumonia, but he is already recovering, a spokesman said Tuesday.
Bush’s case has been treated and resolved, said family spokesman Jim McGrath.

“President Bush is in very good spirits and is being held for further observation while he regains his strength,” said McGrath.
Bush, 92, was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital on Friday due to a persistent cough that has prevented him from getting proper rest, said McGrath. It was subsequently diagnosed as mild pneumonia.
Bush was hospitalized in January with pneumonia as well. On that occasion, he spent two weeks at Methodist, including a stint in the intensive care unit.
