Carlos Jose Ayala, a 35-year-old construction worker facing four felony charges of indecency with a child, is expected in court Tuesday.

Authorities have said they expect to file additional charges, possibly including attempted kidnapping, as they seek other victims.

Earlier this month, Houston police announced they had arrested a suspect believed to have assaulted at least 10 girls in separate incidents in the past three years in northeast Houston and Harris County.

Investigators have asked parents in northeast Houston to report any suspected assaults to police at 713-635-0200.

Police say they suspect Ayala in the following assaults:

*5655 East Sam Houston Parkway – June 5, 2014

*5655 East Sam Houston Parkway – July 7, 2014

*5650 East Sam Houston Parkway – October 24, 2014

*5655 East Sam Houston Parkway – August 30, 2015

*700 Shotwell Street – October 7, 2016

*11534 Spicewood Lane – November 22, 2016

*7320 Waxahachie – December 15, 2016

*7018 Force – December 15, 2016

*7200 Abilene Street – January 23, 2017

*700 Shotwell – February 10, 2017

While the attacks have centered near Interstate 10 in northeast Houston, a pattern has emerged of a man in a dark blue Toyota sedan stopping and walking up from behind Hispanic girls ages 7 to 15 in broad daylight.
