No one worried about looking silly on Easter Sunday.

Instead, they turned out dressed as rabbits (appropriate for the day) for the Bunnies on the Bayou fundraiser at Fish Plaza at Wortham Center.

The gathering by the all-volunteer organization is aimed at raising and distributing funds to charitable, educational and cultural programs looking to improve the quality of life and promote education about Houston’s LGBT community.

The group has been active for more than 30 years and raised more than $830,000 to assist local non-profits and provide health care services over the last seven years.

And, as usual, this year, the bunnies took on all shapes, sizes and colors.
