After three days of searching, dive crews found a body believed to be the boater missing in Lake Houston.

A two-boat crash near Cry Baby Lane first drew police to the scene just after 2 p.m. Saturday.

Lake Patrol searched for the man who went missing after the collision, taking a break overnight and resuming the hunt Sunday morning.

Authorities identified the missing boater as Jeremy Niesen, although the body has not formally been identified as his.

The missing man’s fiance tearfully told reporters over the weekend that she had faith rescuers would find Niesen.

“I won’t believe it until I see his body,” she said. “There’s no way.”

It’s still unclear what caused the collision, but police said they’d found the body Monday afternoon.
