Minor League Baseball set a record for licensed merchandise sales in 2016, and two affiliates of the Houston Astros — the Corpus Christi Hooks and the Fresno Grizzlies — finished in the top 25 based on their sales performance. The 160 teams within Minor League Baseball together recorded more than $68.3 million in retail sales, a 5 percent increase from the $65.1 million set in 2015, according to a news release.
