Aldi to invest millions in remodeling Houston stores

Discount grocer Aldi Inc. is remodeling 24 Houston-area stores as part of a nationwide plan announced in February. The company, which has its U.S. headquarters in Illinois, said July 6 it plans to spend more than $33 million to remodel the Houston stores. The goal is to complete those 24 remodels by 2018.
